The apartment is ideally situated for those not wanting to hire a car, however car hire is very reasonable and is recommended if you want to discover the area.

Things to do

There are many attractions within 30 mins of the apartment including:-

• 2 water parks
• Zoo marine (great for the kids!)
• The mountains of Monchique just 30 minutes drive
• An abundance of golf courses, the nearest being Salgados 5 minutes drive
• Many historic towns of interest
• Not forgetting the beautiful coastline and beaches
• Local markets - ideal for a wander to soak up the buzz and atmosphere!
• Albufeira has a newly built marina which has a walk way from the old town (well worth a visit)
• The algarve shopping centre 'shoppers paradise' is a 10 minute drive where you will also find banks, international restaurants, ten-pin bowling, and a multi screen cinema.
